How does LIGNISUL work?
LIGNISUL MSM works in the body in number of ways.
MSM is made up of 34% sulfur by weight. Sulfur has a long history as a healing agent in the human body. For centuries, mankind has soaked in sulfur-rich, mineral hot springs to help heal a variety of ailments. It is this presence of sulfur that is believed to assist in easing joint pain.
The smooth layer of cartilage in joints is primarily made up of Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). What joins GAGs molecules together are disulfide bonds. These bonds make the cartilage "firm and resilient". It is thought that the abundance of sulfur that MSM supplies to the body allows for stronger bonds, and therefore stronger cartilage.1
General health - by increasing the size of blood vessels, oxygen is more accessible to different parts of the body.
